Apparently Walking from Uganda's Capital Kampala to Westnile is now Possible if you feel unwell about a situation around you & the solution requires Protest. This has since been made possible since Mustafa Gerima paved the way as he Protested against the destruction of Shear butter trees in the region for Charcoal & firewood.

Rashid, A Former Staff & Station Manager of Koboko based Spirit FM is the second to have joined the walking Bandwagon in the name of Protest demanding his unpaid arrears since 2017 when he joined the station on verbal agreements without being given Appointment Letter or even issued Staff Identity Card for all the Period.

While talking to today from his current location Karuma, Rashid Explained that; "He travelled to Namirembe in Kampala on Monday to meet Spirit FM Bosses over his unpaid arrears totalling to over 12,000,000/- (Twelve Million Shillings) after a disagreement between him & the Managers, where it was resolved that he ceases to be their Staffs effective 1st October 2020. Their attitude of being unbothered about his issue besides not picking his calls & answering messages has Prompted him to walk home in protest against such impunities affecting many who seemingly choose to keep quiet."

"I left Kampala on Wednesday & I'm now in Karuma & yet taking some tabs since I feel feverish tho my main fear is now the wild animals between Karuma & Pakwach but I'm determined to walk if Wildlife Provides me Security" Rashid said on Phone today.

Before enjoying the Big Position in the Christian founded & Koboko based Spirit FM which has another Branch in Yei & Main in Kampala, Rashid was On-air Presenter in Arua based Nile FM.
