AZIZ DAMANI DOVES ALL STARS FOOTBALL CLUB UNVEILS MAWA HARUNA AS NEW COACH

Mawa Haruna has been unveiled as Doves All Stars’ new head coach this morning Tuesday 14th January 2020 in press conference held at the club offices at Wadrif road .

 

 

The former Ediofe Boys Fc (Player /Coach ) Uganda cranes U23 KOBS , KCCA FC ,SC VILLA and RAYON SPORTS (RWANDA) mult-talented attacking winger who used both left and right foot with vision for goal was one of the players who graced football in Uganda.

 

Though many people took him a hot Tempered ,he was a player of his words and was part of the extra talented KCCA Fc team of 1997 that included players like Wilson Ggayi (RIP),Hussein Ssali,Derrick Mayanja, Godfrey Sekweyema, Wilber Musika , Morley Bwekwaso ,Miseumera Katende ,Godfrey Mugisha,Ibrahim Sekajja ,Jackson Mayanja ,Muhammad Biansi, Baker Mbowa and Augastine Barigye.

 

He is currently into football coaching as Coach instructor at the Federation of Uganda Football Association and also the coach for the Uganda Parliament Football team .

Mawa who has a CAF A license and helped nature talent from Westnile through Mvara S S and Arua Central as a coach. Some of the clubs he coached include SC VICTORIA UNIVERSITY ,ARUA CENTRAL ,PAIDHA BLACK ANGELS, KCCA (assistant coach to Morley Bwekwaso) Mawa who is a CAF A licensed, German and Italian trained coach has signed a contract till the end of season 2019/2020.

 

On unveiling, The technical director Buga Guilty announced Mawa Haruna’s arrival on behalf of the club CEO Benjamin Mushoke ,and said, “in Mawa we have one of the most experience coach who meets our requirement as a club.

 

He has wealth of experience, can inspire the team and he is a great tactician. He has won honour as a player with KCC (KCCA) FC, SC VILLA and RAYON SPORT (RWANDA) and also coached several sides in Uganda Premier League such as Victoria University, Arua Central SC, including a stint with the Somalia national team and a spell with KCCA FC as an assistant coach under Morley Bwekaso.

 

 

We believe he will bring energy and belief to the dressing room As for Haruna Mawa , he said, “I am excited to be joining a club with such a great heritage and such passionate supporters. The quality in the squad excites me.” Working with these young players, make difference in their lives, be part of the family and make a difference in the club. " Mawa's first game as a head coach will be in a build up game next week with a team yet to be confirmed.
